If you go into the extensions mailbox settings, scroll down to Notification Parameters, click on Edit beside Email/Text Messaging. On the daily tabs, see if this is set to Yes
Ironically enough, that Ebay link is the same one I gave to the boss, and I believe that's where he had ordered it from lol
I appreciate you taking the time to look though!
Side note - I had tried to repair the break in the cable by cutting it, stripping it, twisting it, then soldering it back...
I resoldered the wires themselves, not the connection points. Mine has screw terminals as well, but the cables just past the tension reliever became damaged I'm guessing over the past almost 10 years of use.
Yes I was using Google to search, tried putting "ts-44" and "canada" in quotes, that...
Hey all,
Tried to repair my butt set cords, but seems like that didn't help. Was going crazy static whenever you wiggled the black and red cords coming out the bottom. Pulled them out, stripped them, tried to solder (though now that I think of it, maybe my solder was non-conductive), but now...
Hey Curly,
Ended up finding a solution - Feature Settings, Transfer Callback was set to Y, needed to set to N.
Then, after all that, the customer wanted it set back to what it was lol
Thanks for the reply though!
Hey there HiveMind,
I have a client who does not want to hear "The Operator is not available" from Silicone Sally. The expected operation is that I call into their main number, which rings twice before going to AA. I then enter an extension number, lets say 250. 250 rings, but they've gone for...
I'm sure CurlyCord can attest to this, I'm also in the GTA and one of our local telco's (Rogers) is switching their business lines from their broadband VoIP modem to a new SIP-ATA using a Grandstream ATA.
We have had nothing but absolute nightmares with this conversion. Nortel, Panasonic...
Thanks for the reply again. I may not have been clear there, I used traditional jumper wire, not stranded wire. I agree with you 100% there, never use stranded on BIX. It's a white-blue twisted pair of solid jumper wire, crimped onto RJ11 mod ends. Those go directly from the ports on the 3x8 to...
Hey there,
Wiring is: amphenol from 3x8 goes to BIX, then to stations. I did not try and connect a phone, however I did try and use an existing working port that had a phone connected and no luck.
The mod cords I crimped, using jumper wire and RJ11 ends, going straight from the BIX directly...
Hi there,
Have a customer with a 3x8 v5.1 and a CP100 with old software that may have been spoofed. Install that we inherited. The CP100 used to work with this 3x8, but for whatever reason decided that it doesn't want to talk anymore. Tried switching power supplies, ports on the 3x8, electrical...
Hey there,
Client wants a zero-out option in individual extensions' mailboxes to go to a desired operator. E.g. I call in to AA, dial extension 225. x225 is not available, and while listening to their voicemail, I press 0 to be transferred to their "operator", lets say x224.
Apparently this...
Hey folks,
Apparently this is acting up by design on the NS700.
System has two tenants, Tenant #1 is using analog lines, Tenant #2 is using SIP with their own DID.
Tenant #1 goes straight to 500 AA. Tenant #2 wants to ring ICDG 608 then their AA. However, when you set the No Answer to 500...
Hey there,
Is the PBX using a SMTP address that's using a SMTP relay? You may not have a "verified sender" authentication based off of your hosts DNS records. If you're using Gmail or Office365, there are other issues with those going back about a year now related to MFA.
Also, make sure you...
@ctamir
Here is a previous post where I had the same issue:
This is for Firefox, I'm not sure what the Chrome fix would be
It's a TLS issue, the PBX's don't support the latest SSL certificate requirements.
Hey folks,
We have a new customer with an Avaya IP office, who about 7 months ago we swapped out a blown up combo card. We swapped in a replacement(IPO 500 ATMU-V2), and last week it blew a transistor in what I believe was the same spot. I took the system off the wall, took a look inside, and...
Is your NS500 up to the latest release? Gmail(among others) started requiring TLS 1.2 not that long ago, as well as 2FA. I've only worked on a couple of NS500's, so I'm not sure which release added TLS 1.2, but it wasn't until I think release 8 with the NS700 that it was added.
Also, the PBX's...
