Well, just an update. I replaced the SPEAK TEXT event with a generic event using the $DBD[0] in place of the wave file and its worked every time so far.

Running Voicemail Pro 3.0(17), IP office 3.0(59) on a 412. We have setup a module that will connect to a database and lookup up a tracking number using an order number entered by the user. The tracking number returned, stored in $DBD[0], is suppose to be read back using a SPEAK TEXT event...

Since access to ADO compliant databases is achieved through the use of database drivers, I don't think it will connect directly to a .csv file. I don't see an option to select a file, only ODBC drives. Hopefully that helps out a little.
