Can no longer make or receive calls

Ok somewhere along the line I also lost the ability to dial international. I get a fast busy. I read some posts here and found out about the del digits. Mine were set to 3 so I tried setting to 0 but still get same results. Showing my PRI here. Any ideas? I do have the ISP looking to in...

Can no longer make or receive calls

Success! While re-reading I went through that bit you said about adding pool 70 and tried it out and we're done! Thanks a ton, you've been a tremendous help.

Can no longer make or receive calls

I did your instructions from above and found that 804 is not part of pool 70.

Can no longer make or receive calls

Eureka! We've almost got it. At the last part you said press button 4 and it should display as line 804-I. Well it didn't display as anything. But I went through the instructions anyway. I can call the fax now!! But... I've lost dial tone and can't call out. So we've kind of reversed...

Can no longer make or receive calls

On this board the 412 LS-TDL in slot 1 I have the following: Number Logical ID Type 804 4 line 803 3 line 802 2 line 801 1 line Then it lists a lot of extension info in format: Number Logical ID Board Type Adjunct...

Can no longer make or receive calls

What I mean is that the actual analog line that correspond to the phone number xxx-9222 is what plugs into port 4, of slot 2 of the 412 TDL module (yes processor is right before this one). What it does in Merlin from there I don't know, but I do know that it ultimately comes out through port...

Can no longer make or receive calls

That should be 9222 plugs into slot 1. There is also a second carrier box which I believe is irrelevant but anyway it has two boards a 024 TDL and an 008 OPT. They would be slots 6 and 7 respectively.

Can no longer make or receive calls

In this particular carrier box slots are as follows: 1 412 LS-TDL 2 024 TDL 3 016 TRR 4 100CSU-DSU 5 008 MLX-U 922 plugs into slot 1. It would be the second to top port which is #4. It comes out on slot 3 and from the bottom up it also lands on #4.

Can no longer make or receive calls

Actually the DID is a 9222. We're not quite sure how x559 ended up ringing to the fax. I know the actual line number (9222), I know where it plugs in to the board and I know that internally x559 rings the fax. What I can't figure out is how to get that 9222 to 559. 9222 isn't a valid...

Can no longer make or receive calls

Ok, a bit more info. I'm told by the person who originally set this up that it was just being used as a pass through. That is to say that it enters the 412 LS-TDL board as a real analog line and should just pass through the system and come out the 016 TRR to the fax machine. There wasn't even...

Can no longer make or receive calls

It does have it's own DID. If you call 559 in house it does ring the fax line and you can hear it ring and answer.

Can no longer make or receive calls

I went through those steps but all it did was turn off the 9 before you dial out. I still can't call in to this line.

Can no longer make or receive calls

Ok, am I finally there? phew, I sure hope so. Thanks a ton for this help btw fokls. I've traced the incoming copper line to where it enters a 412 LS-TDL board. Logical ID 4, Number 804, Type line. I also know that it comes out of a 016 TRR board. Logical ID 40. Board type S/L. (number...

Can no longer make or receive calls

Regarding the PRI issue, our provider had to cycle the box (so did we) to resynch our equipment. That resolved that portion of the problem. I added the line to the calling group, but it didn't help. The main problem I guess is this. I know this is an analog line coming in now (verified with...

Can no longer make or receive calls

From what I can tell (looking at the other fax extension), our Fax Calling Group is 265. The dead extension doesn't have that associated. In my manual I find these steps: Sys Prog, Ext, More, Grp Calling, Members, 265, Fax Ext, Exit, More, Grp Type, 265, Auto Login <Enter>, Exit I don't want...

    Problem with incoming faxes

Ok, I printed out the info as well as the extensions of working fax lines. I find that the working ones have an associated Group Calling Member # and the non-working one does not. Would this Group Calling Member # be something like the "Group" for faxes?
