I just looked at Twinning for the user, and I cannot see the extensions on the other site there, either. I am thinking there is an issue with the SCA. Anyone else ever seen this? It is listes Advanced SCA license valid on both sites, and the sites are talking to each other on some level.
Internal twinning, I saw that, but didn't think about it in this case.
I have checked, and the SCN license is valid on both sites, but i can only see the site I am working on when making the hunt groups. I know the SCN has to be working, because we have quite a few numbers on one side which...
I have tried to find an answer to this one. If I missed it in my search, please point me to the right link. Thanks!
We have just brought up two remote IP Office ver 4 setups, with the Advanced SCN license. Our CEO is going to maintain an office at both locations, and would like his phone to...
Thank You ALL once again for the excellent info!! Once I knew "where" the adjuncts were, it was a piece of cake. Only took 15 minnutes in WinSPM, and might have been less if I had not gone out and checked the first two I did. After being sure I was on the right track, it took no time at all...
OK, I'll look at both options in the morning. Yes, 770 is the VM call group. Another yes, it is a 3 digit dial plan.
When you say "System Renumber> Adjuncts> 300> Enter> DID number" you do mean the extension associated with the DID, right, not the entire DID?
I am willing to try this both...
So I take it that last part of the list is the adjuncts. I have tried renumbering one of them, 482 for example to 819, one of the lost extensions/DID's. The call to the DID still goes to the auto attendant. What did I do wrong there? I tried using the other two columns of numbers (ID #:183...

Ok, when I try to renumber adjuncts in the 7300 range it will not accept the numbers, just stays on the "Enter old Adjunct" screen. Any other ideas on adjunct ranges i might try?
Ok, a new issue. Magix 2.2 system. Merlin Messaging 2.5
We had to displace 11 of our employees temporarily. They all had DID's. My plan was to move their extension off the station, and replace it with extensions which do not have DID's. I did this in the hope that their DID would still...
I have always been a hardware/software/data guy. Our IT Chief quit last March, and I was thrown into his place...at least the raise was nice.
I am self taught for the most part with WinSPM on our Magix system. This is actually the first problem I was unable to troubleshoot and fix...although...
Ok, well, the part is on order, and a service call scheduled. I looked at the install and setup, and I don't even want to attempt it. i could probably make it work, but don't want to take the chance of a SNAFU (in the true definition of the word) and something not going off right, or it taking...
Nevermind, I think I just answered my own question. I found the Messaging software on the Avaya CD, and installed it. I tried to access the port on the MM card to set an IP, so that I could access the LAN port. It advised that it could not connect, C: drive failure.
Understood. I have run a backup through the LAN port on the Magix system (the processor is where I believe the port is, it is labeled ADMIN) thru WinSPM.
Does that also backup the messaging side of things?
I have in the past backed it up with the LAN interface, just not sure how long ago.
When you say "restart VM" do you mean busy out-restore-reset? Because I have done that. If there is another way, please advise.
Thanks for the responses so far.
Thanks, Tom, but the VM system is acting like all ports are full, it will not let me dial in. I will look at what WinSPM says a little more closely for the card.
