What will happen when someone tries to intercom that person?
Will it ring and then cover to VM? And if so...will the person on the phone be able to tell (via display window) who is intercoming?

Customer has a PTR ACS R6.0 and 18B MLS Sets.
While engaged in an outside call (over PSTN) caller receives an intercom call that can be heard by the other party. What are the options (other than placing the call on hold)for not having the called party hear the inside intercomer??? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the help. After I posted the thread I double checked the #505 by dialing the extensions directly. Sure enough I was off on one extension. As usual one of you superstars were correct. Thanks again.
We have a partner acs r6.0 and partner mail 3.0 (4-ports).
5-slot carrier, acs processor, [3]308 exp, and an 012 in slot 5.
The problem is the mail is answering "transferring call" and sending to extension 10.
I have checked #206 and all lines are assigned to group 7.

I have a customer who purchased (used on ebay)a PTR ACS R3.0 with PCVM (large). Two strange things:
[1] There was no B/Up card only a DXD and a PCVM card included.
The ACS system will not back-up the settings (The display reads "Insert valid card".
[2] The PCVM keeps going back to former owners...
I NOW HAVE THE CORRECT AUTO ATTENDANT ANSWERING HOWEVER:
[A] THE AA DOES NOT RECOGNIZE TOUCH-TONE EXT PROMPTS.
[B] THE DID NUMBERS ANSWER AND SAY "TRANSFERRING TO OPERATOR".

Have a Merlin Magix with Merlin Messaging 2.5.
All of the sudden the MM system status light is red and
the auto-attendant (used only at night) is saying "transferring to the operator".
