We have a filemaker pro database, we wold like to stop using it, what other database can be used as a replacement?
I know MS Access may be a possibility, is there any tool to convert it or what is the best way to convert it?

Not sure, a couple of teachers in our school use it.
We don't know much about the db, we are a new tech department, they ask for help
we only know the size now is 140kb
We have some access database, when we open it, there is no tables any more, no any other object in the database any more.
What happened, only thing we know we update the office to 2003, but those dbs are 2000.

I have an Access table with a field named lunchpin, it is 5 digit number, but when I export to a text file, it turns to be 4 if it has a 0 in front of it, for example 02119, becomes 2119, how can I keep the number still 5 digits, without losing the leading or ending 0s.

Hi, I created a report,but when i preview the report, the words displayed in the field some times has space between a word,

I did find in one of my groups there I checked to keep groups together, I previously didn't find it is because I thought there is only one group I need to check, and keep groups-together means to keep all groups together, so didn't check one by one.

The problem is now only the first page is shown correctly, but the other odd pages only have group header1 there, then all other sections go to next pages,

Report header: suppress, keep together
Page header: suppress when at even page,
Group header1: keep together,
Group header2, keep together
Group header3: keep together

I don't have the "new page before" checked in the detail section,plus it shows correctly on the first page, but not on the other odd pages.
The first page has page header, group header1 to group header4, group footer 1 to group footer 4, page footer.

I'm very confused why the first page is OK, and all other odd page doesn't display correctly, only has header left, all other sections goes to the next page.

For all the other pages--which is about 20 records, the first page of the report only shows the group header1, page header and footer, nothing else shows...
