I need suggestions to make my application faster. It has front and back end, .mdw file, and a couple Word templates. I have some subforms and code. I will have about 20 users from Seattle and Long Beach sharing the backend data.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do but you can access a field from another table (not the record source) by using domain functions: dlookup
