Hello,
I am trying to convert the Crystal 8.5 reports to Crystal 10. The reports are created using a TTX file and at runtimean ADO recordset is passed to it and a RDC viewer contrl is used to view the report. As I know it, in 8.5 the name of the fields in the TTX file does not have to match...
Sorry about not explaining ---Was referring to the Crystal Enterprise Embedded Edition installation when I talked about Production and Development licenses - The version comparison chart shows almost silmilar features between the CR 10 Advanced Edition and CR 10 Developer Edition but for...
Other than the fact that CR 10 Advanced Developer has to be used for production and CR 10 Developer for developement and test environments, does anybody know any other difference between the 2 versions - especially with respect to CE Embedded (formerly RAS)
thanks.
Does anybody have a working example of a ASP -RDC report in Crystal 10? The Crystal CD only had VB- RDC and ASP-RAS samples. I downloaded the ASP -RDC Samples for Crystal 9 from the Crystal Dev Zone but it doesn't seem to work with Crystal 10.
Thanks
I also find that this happens only in the Excel export...PDF, CSV exports are successfull. The same report when run on the machine directly (without using terminal services) exports to excel without any problem. Its only the combination of terminal services and excel export to a different drive...
My users access a CR6.0 report made into an EXE through a terminal Server. When they try to export a report to some other drive in the terminal services session (to which they have access to) a blank file with the 0KB is created in the location.
But when they save it to the desktop it exports...
Sorry about not explaining my problem in detail.
I am a VB programmer trying to do some reports in Crystal.
I am using Crystal 8.5 and am trying to form a record selection formula from within Crystal.
The problem is this.
I have 3 input parameters - ReportType, Document Date Range and Dollar...
I want to do this in my Record Selection formula. But it says the result must be boolean. Any work arounds?
StringVar selCustClass := "";
StringVar selCustClass2 := "";
StringVar selDocDate := "";
StringVar selDollarRangeMin := "";

I use Crystal 8.5. I have a report with 3 levels of groups.
Each group footer has the summary values for the field in the "Details" section.
Now, when I drill down from Group 1 to Group2, the sumamry in the group 1 footer also appears in the drill down page. Is there some way to...
I have the report as a seperate rpt file,and it works perfectly. When I try to open the same rpt file through TRACKIT, the group tree does not let me navigate back to the main page...nor do the preview tabs available. I am guessing this is some kind of a problem with the TRACKIT integration and...
TrackIt is a call tracking software by Intuit, used typically by the help desk. Crystal is integrated with TRACKIT and I am not usre what type of viewer it uses. But it is surely not web based.
Has anybody incorporated a Crystal Report with drilldowns in TRACKIT? The Group tree option behaves weirdly. Does not allow us to navigate back to the start of a tree once we drill down to a detail. Is there any particular setting to use with this?
Thanks in advance for any help.
I have some reports the input for which is through a VB form. So I usually create a designer file (DSR) in the VB environment, design the report and run it.
Now some reports need a chart in them. If I want to define custom colors for the charts, I found that the only way out was to save the DSR...
Well, Found a way out for this problem with help from another thread in this forum.
As I suspected, the problem was because the formula was based out a parameter field and Crystal reports could not probably suggest the time of evaluation by itself. So when I added a...
I am having a similar problem. My formula is based out of a parameter field. This formula does not show up in the Available Fields box while creating a chart. Any solution to this?
