The correct driver is installed and was by w2k itself, i also updated it with the latest w2k driver from the relevant website. I even removed it and replaced it with a differant make and installed the w2k driver for that card but still no good.
I can set the resolution no problem to what i want...
I can install windows 9x no problem but when installing a fresh copy of win 2000 with sp2 ie.formatting drive during installation, all goes well until i set the video resolution and when i reboot later it always defaults to 640x480.
Ive changed the cdrom drive, hard drive, took out the sound...
Im using NTFS file system, hard drive was partitioned before loading OS and has been perfect for months until now.
CHKDSK will run but WILL NOT repair errors.....

A complete format and re-install is the last option.....
Using win xp the software reports that 5gig of HDD space has been used, but all the folders added together only equal 2.5gig, Where is the other 2.5gig ???? out of 50 gig.
