Jim, Thanks for your reply. The size when spooling the job from the user's PC is over 1MB - for me it is only 219KB. It is a very basic Word document - not even close to 1MB. Surely there are corrupt printer config files on the PC - what do you think? Thanks again Jim All the best Johnny
