Symantec was nice enough to inform me that the only way to run Liveupdate was with an account that has administrative rights. Has anyone been able to figure out how to allow a regular user (non-admin) account to be able to run Liveupdate?

If you are running a Windows 2000 Domained based network you can do this with the startup/shutdown scripts in group policy. Or you can run mmc, the add the group policy object editor, choose local computer and then add a shutdown script under Windows Settings - Scripts.
