We have bought aditional DID's from our provider and I need some help converting those in actual usable extensions. For example last didgits of the actual number we own are xxx.255.1262. and I need to convert it to a working extension that ends in xxx.315.5105 I have a NEC (NEAX2000 IVS2)system...

I have changed my extension from 11 to 33, and WAS able to dial a cell phone number. I have also chnaged it to 44 and WAS able to dial a local phone. Is that maybe because the code yo have might be for a differeny system? Or maybe I misunderstood something...?

I actually used the 1201 command in MOC and found that 11 allows outside calling and '88 is the setting that restricts it. BUt i also founf some phones set to '44'.. Would you know what that setting is for?

Thank you for your reply OzzieGeorge. We have a NEAX2000 IVS2 system and I tried the command 1201 in the MOC utility and for the extension in question I get '11' as the result: 1201>3218:11- Am I supposed to change 11 to something else?
