1. uninstalling all components in my LAN properties
2. deleting all references found relating to winsock in the reg
3. reboot
4. reinstalling network components

Another help would be this when I try to ping Anything including a network device with a known IP addres I get error number 65. Whats worse is that this is a laptop and I dont have a floppy disk and the only way to get software to this PC was through the internet or my LAN.
