Thanks Sympology.
We do something similar to this by routing our trunks via different exchanges, and ducts, with the single telco.
How is the initial delivery handled when provider A failsover to provider B? I assume provider A has to handle this.
Thanks
Has anyone experience of using multiple telcos to provide resilient voice services.
Specifically for inbound calls to a 1800 (800 / 0800) service.
Do you need to configure alternate terminating numbers and have a primary telco redirect to the secondary if the primary has an outage? This still...

Thanks, 23 pages... I was thinking as we'd paid quite a few dollars for this (CM5) Avaya might provide useful documentation on how to use it.

Thanks
But what I remember of these screens is that they are just a list A - Z or whatever withsome general labels do you know of documentation that would guide on restricting access as above.

Thanks...

Do you keep copies of screen prints say before and after the change?
Thanks

Thanks telm59
I want to avoid changing the FRL of the COR as this will not necessarily stop calls from using the 'wrong' trunk if they are made by the group with the higher FRL and the 'right' trunk is full.
It looks like I have to replicate routing patterns, partition group and use...
I am wanting to set up our PBX (G3si) so that outbound calls from stations use trunk group 1 and calls from agents use trunk groups 2 & 3.
I had thought COR would be a way to do this but this has had no effect; when I changed my station's COR to not have access to TGs 2 & 3's COR, my station...
Preparing for a kernel upgrade I am trying to create a boot disk using mkbootdisk, unfortunately during the process I am advised that there is no space left on the diskette.
Is there a way to make mkbootdisk span diskettes? presumably it defaults to copying the minimum files.
TIA
