Outlook 2003 / POP, Emails stuck in outbox, sending anyway

Longhair, Looking at the rules, it doesn't seem like there's an "after being sent" rule that I could use to move the items to Sent Items, unless I'm missing it. Paulha, That is correct. We have let it sit for days and it never moves the outbox to the sent items folder. The emails ARE sent...

Outlook 2003 / POP, Emails stuck in outbox, sending anyway

Yes, it is set to save items to sent items. :) And that's fine, it's not a silly question to point out the obvious, God knows I've missed the obvious before.

Outlook 2003 / POP, Emails stuck in outbox, sending anyway

Hey all, This is more an annoyance at the moment, but I'd like to fix it. The computer in question is running XP Pro, SP2. All the most recent updates, etc etc. I have a user using Outlook 2003 to connect to a POP email address. When sending emails, the email sticks in the outbox and never...

Transferring VPN connections from one computer to another?

Awesome. Thank you very much, this is perfect.

Transferring VPN connections from one computer to another?

Yeah, these are the XP made ones. Even if I could just copy them without the passwords, that would be great. That much less work for me to do.

Transferring VPN connections from one computer to another?

Hi all, I have a new computer in the office, and I need to get all of the VPN connections added on to it from an existing one. Normally I wouldn't mind doing this manually, but in this case there are 40 or so different VPN connections. Is there a way to transfer those connections from one...

    Automatically insert check box controls?

Got it, thanks. The copy/paste still wasn't working, but the fill down worked.

    Automatically insert check box controls?

Thanks for the prompt response. I tried what you suggested, and it didn't work, but now I think I see where my problem is. I'm grabbing the checkbox from the control toolbox. I think that's putting it on the page but not putting it "into" the field, so it won't let me paste more than one at a...

    Automatically insert check box controls?

Hey all... Is there an easy way for me to insert a large number of unlabeled checkbox controls? Basically, I have a list of items in column A, and I want there to be a checkbox next to each in column B. Since the list is about 200 items long, I really don't want to have to try to manual...

Excel converting imported values to dates

Unfortunately, no. I'm not using the "data/import external data" thing to import the data. I click a command button in a third-party program, and it exports the data directly to excel, pulling up a new instance of Excel as it does so. There is no intermediary file.

Excel converting imported values to dates

Hi all, I'm working with an in-house programmed (though the programmer is long gone at this point) network management tool that can export data to Excel. One of the reports it generates lists the recent errors on a router/circuit. It pulls up a new instance of Excel to do so. Most of the...

    Referencing tables with VB code?

Thanks guys, this looks like it will work. Now it's just mucking with the guts of it.

    Referencing tables with VB code?

Hi all! I've been bugging you guys for the past few days. :) I didn't see anything when I searched, but does anyone know a good little summary (preferably w/ an example or two) on how to reference tables with VB code? For that matter, do you think I can do what I want to do without resorting...

Object Library problem - DB made on 2003, one item fails w/ 2000

Ewww, that looks gross. :) I'll give it a shot, but perhaps I'll just encourage him to call the helpdesk and upgrade his computer's software version. Thanks!

Object Library problem - DB made on 2003, one item fails w/ 2000

Hey all, Hopefully this hasn't been answered already, I wasn't able to find anything by searching. I have the following code in order to have a user be able to select a file for importing into the database. ---------- Public Function GetFile() GetFileWorked = 0 Dim fDialog As...

Using macro to import excel data - can I make the file selectable?

Okay, I lied, I tried one more time before I left. It's all working, thanks for the help!

Using macro to import excel data - can I make the file selectable?

Okay, file choosing is working properly, now to integrate it with the import function...but that'll have to be tomorrow. I might bug you more then. :) Thanks!

Using macro to import excel data - can I make the file selectable?

Sorry if I'm being an idiot here. :) Ask me a TCP/IP question, I swear I'll be competent! Anyway, how would I reference the object library? I've never done that in my limited VB experience - everything was a self-contained program that I wrote then.

Using macro to import excel data - can I make the file selectable?

Okay, trying the code there as written...I'm getting this error: Compile Error: User-defined type not defined in reference to this: Public Function GetFile() Dim fDialog As Office.FileDialog Thoughts?

Using macro to import excel data - can I make the file selectable?

Cancel that...duh, "call." I was looking for cmdButton.call or something like that.
