I have a Option 11 running version 25.40 that appears to be inserting a digit of 1 across a TIE line T-1 to another PBX and getting the other pbx speed dial list. Where can I find this 1 to have it stripped out? And then test.
Thank you for the lead. Got to ld 86 and now I can dial all the way out on our trunks. Bad part is I am hitting the speed call list and dialing people on the list. I dialed the 3 digit ext, but it is putting a 1 in front so I have dialed 1202 etc.. Gonna try and get that fixed.
I know that I have never set that up since we started this project. So I guess I will start there. I can change the RDB if need be. I am pretty sure they are all default. Will get that done and let you know. If I get lost, I will ping back.. Thanks again
My dialing issue I get. I can dial the access code and get on a trunk, but never go out to the other end. I just get silence after I dial. And on the AASTRA, they access the trunk and then it goes Reorder Tone after a short time. So I would have to think that we off in the AASTRA, but not...
The other end of the Tie is a AASTRA system. Right now we have it in sync. However we are having issues dialing. This box (AASTRA) has AT&T setup. Right now the option is on STD. I was going to try and match them up with ATT. Since it is all in house and for DEMO we have time to play and...
Thanks for the input. But again the CO_TYPE is in LD 17 for your I/O and gateway openers. I am looking at the DOCs on page 3346 of LD 17. You maybe thinking CYTP.
I was looking for a little guidance on changing the CO_TYPE on a Tie line I have setup. The switch that is in house is setup for ATT and I want to change to ATT from STD. I know to go to LD 17 and do chg and all that. Cant find from ADAN how to get to CO_TYPE to change it. Thanks
We are running release 25.40 on the option 11. Also we are going to try and connect the two system via cable since they are sitting next to each other. Do you know the pairs that at Transmit and Receive for a T1 on the amp head?
Guys,
I am tasked with hooking up a T1 between a Opt. 11C to a Intecom pbx. Has anyone ever done this before? I am programming a T1 circuit for the option and there is a Intecom tech that will program the T1 from there end. Help would be appreciated.
Thx
If anyone has encountered this I would like some help. I really dont want to call Nortel.

Guys, I got a wild one. Hunt group and UPS metrics have never worked, the system is running very slow, I am thinking that they will need to upgrade the system. But here is the problem...Installed desktop 002 and system 004 patches as requested. Test Hunt Group Metrics after both patches had...
Guys,
Major problem and not getting anywhere with Nortel 1st level support. BCM and Norstar connected using VOIP trunking. When there is a call between BCM and MICS it gets disconnected in every 10 minutes. Any ideas are better than the ones coming from Nortels 1st level.
I have a customer that is getting a Red light on nortel Feature code - tech reset system and went back to green. This is on a BCM 50. Then red alarm light came back on.
I had my tech perform a level 1 reset and still Red light is comming back with "Error 6010" Anyone got an idea how to clear...
Ok, Here is one that I don't want to call Nortel about. I have a BCM 400 that caller id logs, you can't see the number. It just has company name, not their number. Here is how it goes...When an external call comes in, the CLID is displayed briefly, goes away and then the company name is...
Incoming calls are getting cut off prematurally. Here is the way a call comes in:
POTS on GATM (expansion module) --> line 61 on BCM --> DN 2221 (Operator set) Appear only --> AA picks up
This is where the problem starts:
1) AA set to pickup at 0 or 1 rings -- AA picks up call with correct...
