I was looking for a little guidance on changing the CO_TYPE on a Tie line I have setup. The switch that is in house is setup for ATT and I want to change to ATT from STD. I know to go to LD 17 and do chg and all that. Cant find from ADAN how to get to CO_TYPE to change it. Thanks

Thanks for the input. But again the CO_TYPE is in LD 17 for your I/O and gateway openers. I am looking at the DOCs on page 3346 of LD 17. You maybe thinking CYTP.

what's on the other end of the tie? if you both speak ni2 std, it will work.. most of the time newer boxes will both speak qsig.. much cleaner

The other end of the Tie is a AASTRA system. Right now we have it in sync. However we are having issues dialing. This box (AASTRA) has AT&T setup. Right now the option is on STD. I was going to try and match them up with ATT. Since it is all in house and for DEMO we have time to play and get it right. So just trying to cover ever base we can.

what type of dialing issues? that is rare. after you get the d's to talk, i've never seen a diaiing issue

My dialing issue I get. I can dial the access code and get on a trunk, but never go out to the other end. I just get silence after I dial. And on the AASTRA, they access the trunk and then it goes Reorder Tone after a short time. So I would have to think that we off in the AASTRA, but not 100% sure where to look.

dial tone is a rdb option. you do not need it.. have you set up your nfrl table to allow?

when you dial acod ld 49 frl controls dialed digits.. in the rdb all ncos are set to table 0, so table 0 needs to be defaulted to allow.. it may have been set to allow IF your using acod for any other rdb's..

best thing to do is build a rlb and send a number to it.. trunk type tie or did your dialed digits are repeated on the far end.. then use ld 96 to monitor the d.. in that manner you can isolate the problem

I know that I have never set that up since we started this project. So I guess I will start there. I can change the RDB if need be. I am pretty sure they are all default. Will get that done and let you know. If I get lost, I will ping back.. Thanks again

not the rdb, rlb.. ld 86

Thank you for the lead. Got to ld 86 and now I can dial all the way out on our trunks. Bad part is I am hitting the speed call list and dialing people on the list. I dialed the 3 digit ext, but it is putting a 1 in front so I have dialed 1202 etc.. Gonna try and get that fixed.
