Hi,
I have a Dell Latitude D830 (Intel Duo core 2 2.4Ghz, GMA X3100 graphic card) that I'm trying to install Solaris 10 version 11/06 from a DVD. It's always rebooting when boot up from 64bit. I try to boot 32 bit and instead of giving me the login screen, it shows no video and I have to reset...
I already did reset the sc after but i still have the same problem invalid password.
./scadm resetsc
It seems like it only reset to a default state or maybe a beginning state when we set a admin password for sc.
Thank you very much for your replies,
Bryan

1) Attach console to Serial Management Port
2) Power on V240 and wait 1 to 2 minutes for a timeout to occur and the system to drop to the "ok>" prompt.
Please login:

after cleaning up the way u told me, i still have the same problem CPU2 now is 69C and CPU 10C. I didn't reconfigue anything, BIOS is in DEFAULT. I let the computer ON over night it works fine except the CPU2 tempature. I really don't know what to do with this matter :(
im sorry this is a dual processor system :)and i just added on a second CPU so everthing is new (CPU, fan, Heatsink).
I also found out that the SiSandra test only can sensor the CPU1 fan only, not the CPU2 fan. do you think it is the problem why the CPU2 is 65C even though both of these fans...
