    Assuming this is onboard Video, what memory is allocated to the Video? Try increasing it.

    tp 760l hard drive not recognized

    What is a TP 760I? Is it an IBM Thinkpad 760? My problem is with the TP 360 CSE a 486 notebook. But it does not seem to recognise the hard drive at all. Anyway my guess is motherboard. have you tried other drives? Sounds like you forgot to upgrade the bios before installing that hard drive though.

    How did you reformat the old drive? With the old board? If so try reattaching the drive to the old board and see if it recognises it. If not Maxtor has the best hard drives.

    I seem to have lost the power to my hard drive in my 486 thinkpad notebook. I know the HD works because I tested it on another system. What happened? Cable? Is there any test with multimeter? Bill
