Actually the application really doesn't have an effect at all. If I start up Excel, manually, without any code running at all, Excel starts up at Book2....that's what I originally said...and that's where the problem lies....
Ok, here's some news...
The .xlb file didn't exist.
I copied that file from my PC onto the server (that's where the problem is, on the server)
That didn't change anything.
I then logged off the server and logged on with a different userName and when I start Excel Book1 comes up but Book2 still...

XLSTART is empty...
Nothing is checked in Add-Ins...
How silly is this...???

Does anyone know how to change the default name of Excel Spreadsheets?
For some reason the Default name on my server when opening Excel is Book2 and I need it say Book1.
There are no other Spreadsheets open at the time and it still says Book2.......
Does anyone know how to fix this????
