    Well, I do. Sendmail opensource and switch (plus spam filter) along with Exch 2k & 5.5 in our environment. Just know that it can get a bit hectic at times. and I would never recomend just 1 person. It leaves no time for much of a life.

    Use exchange 5.0 client on the exchange client disk (client b4 outlook) and look into the root of the user store. Remember that the Inbox, Contacts, and such are just folders like any other its just that outlook sees them as vital folders. Just a guess.

    you could possibly set the mailer-daemon acct (in the alias file) to point to a mailbox on your exchange system. then all formerly locally delivered errors would go to the ext system. I think this may do what you need.
