Is anybody using Exchange and Sendmail in the same domain and if so are there a lot of problems? I could use some info on this type of setup if anybody knows where a good site is I would appreciate it.

everything should be ok as long as you set the exchange server to send all mail to default host (sendmail server IP or ip's separated by commas.) then set sendmail to masquerade as domain name.com and allow relay from the ims(s) ips or names or virtname of the ext ip of the firewall if you have a dmzish type setup. then set sendmail to deliver all mail to the ims(s)

pretty good way to be able to isolate spam and virus attacks then you can go through sendmail and clean the spools if needed.

I was hoping I could just add a MX record for the sendmail server and have mail for user@domain.com be handled by Exchange and user@sendmail.domain.com be handled by sendmail server. Is this possible or am I crazy?
