Unfortunately not yet, I have removed the PIX and am going to set it up at my house this weekend to see if acts the same way on my DSL line there. I will let post if I can resolve anything.
I have a Win2003 server handling both DHCP and DNS for all clients. The pix is not running any dhcp functions. Haven't tried an external DNS server yet.
I just installed a PIX 501, not many modifications made to out of the box config at all, just some port forwarding for inbound traffic. I noticed that web browsing seems to drag much more than it did before when using a Linksys dsl router as the firewall. My first guess is that the core switch...
I have just setup an Exchange 2003 server and also have an Exch. 2000 server. I have moved only 2 mailboxes so far to the new 2003 server and have had no problems for a week until now. I can send mail to everyone except to one external domain. I get the error:
You do not have permission to...
Thanks, I looked at all of that already, but it wasn't the problem. This is definitely some kind or strange glitch with the mail server or the clients.
Intermittently different users will create e-mails and when they send the e-mail, they find out that the text disappears from the message. It is verified by viewing the e-mail in their Sent mail folder. Clients are running Outlook 2003 through an Exchange 2000 server. There is no consistency...
I have and Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server mail server that I am brining online as our only mail server, but would like to move OWA to a Front End mail server in a DMZ when we are able to get additional hardware to run it. I was wondering if it is possible to setup a front end mail server after...
I have a W2K AD domain with Exchange 2K. I have successfully brought a 2003 DC online and am preparing to remove my other 2000 DC's, one of which runs Exchange 2K. I was getting ready to transfer FSMO roles to the new 2003 DC in order to remove the non-Exchange 2000 DC from the domain. Are...
I have a couple of users running Outlook 2003 like the rest of the office is, but when they send or forward e-mail with an attachment, text disappers from the body of the e-mail as soon as they hit send. All updates and patches have been applied. Does anyone have a clue on this?
Thanks.
I'm looking for a good/stable port forwarding software. I need it because we do not have access to use a router to forward needed tcp ports to a different server. Can anyone suggest a good product, don't mind if it costs some dough?
I inherited a network that has a DC still showing up in AD that no longer exists, the hardware that the DC was on isn't even here anymore. I know that I can use NTDS util to help remove the DC, but haven't ever tried it before. Any advice on successfully cleaning this up is appreciated. Can I...
We are running Exchange2000 and have a problem with our conference room mailbox accepting recurring appointments. Individual meetings are accepted without an issue, but it rejects all of the recurring events. Any help appreciated.
