Thanks for posting. The statements are individual pdf files...no way around that. I've just continued doing this by hand. It's tedious and makes me want to stand on my head, but...it's working OK. Until I make an error.
Actually, I have a unique attachment for each individual (I send statements). My idea was to have a way to have the statements married to the correct email addresses...to reduce operator error. Sigh. I love Access for this stuff...I could have built it myself.
I have an ACT! database, which seems to have the same problem...no one could answer my problem on the ACT! thread, so I thought I'd try the same Q for Outlook, and see if I could migrate the solution over, or send my ACT! mailing through Outlook.
Yes. I have a dg, and want to send the same text in each message, but send each email with a different attachment and perhaps customize certain messages. I'm emailing statements, if that helps explain things.
Thank you so much for responding.
I want to prepare emails to everyone on a distribution list, and then customize them. But, I haven't been able to do this--when I prepare the emails, they are all sent automatically.
Is there a way to prepare the emails and then customize and send them one at a time?
I have my database in ACT, and use Outlook for email. I want to have the option of previewing emails (and possibly customizing them) prior to sending them.
Every time I do a test run, the email is sent automatically, without giving me a change to look them over--any advice on how to do this...
