No, you dont understand.. It changes the color slightly red on default, so that means even when I adjusted it, it is always going to add a slighly red hue to my image on top of what I just did. Thanks again.

Go to Hue/Sat/Light in PSP 8 and zoom all the way in, you will see even at default mode it will change the colors slightly.. this means that the color is going to be changed that much no matter what, even if I set it to somthing diffrent. Thats not good. Thanks.

When I say it changes the color at default mode I mean that even when its at that mode and you dont do anything it still changes it slightly. Also, could anyone tell me why when you only have one layer or have more then one, it does not allow you to use the options like Color, Darken, Dissolve...

Maybe I can help. Try File, Preferences, Reset Preferences If that does not work, try one of the other Preferences options.

I know there are many different ways to take the color out of a picture to add any backround you want, but after spending countless hours looking up software or plugins that would be better for keying out a green or blue screen for Paint Shop Pro I just can not find one, or any stand alone...

Thank you I got it, just save the image in greyscle and open it up then make a new layer, covert it to 24 bit colors then open up the same image in color and put it in the new layer. Came to me right away. Thanks though.

Thank you but that does not work, the second one. When I go to change either one to greyscale it changes them both regardless of what layer I choose.

I was also wondering what would be true black and white? Turning an image greyscale or turning the saturation all the way down.. And also does anyone know how I would make it so I could duplicate a layer then greyscale it without it affecting the duplicated layer that I just made. Thanks.
