Can anyone tell me why when you go to Hue/Sat/Light, even when its at its default mode it changes the color?

Can anyone tell me how to fix it so it does not do that?

Thanks.

When I say it changes the color at default mode I mean that even when its at that mode and you dont do anything it still changes it slightly.

Also, could anyone tell me why when you only have one layer or have more then one, it does not allow you to use the options like Color, Darken, Dissolve but it does it PSP X?

Thanks again for any help anyone can offer.

I haven't noticed that it changes anything in the default mode. But you could set it so that it is behaving as you want it to. (i.e. no changes.) click ok. Then the next time you use it PSP will 'remember' your last setting.

Go to Hue/Sat/Light in PSP 8 and zoom all the way in, you will see even at default mode it will change the colors slightly.. this means that the color is going to be changed that much no matter what, even if I set it to somthing diffrent. Thats not good.

Thanks.

Could anyone help me out on this? I would be vary thankful.

Thanks.

I don't have v8, just 7 and 10, I tried this in 7.

Yes, there is some change by default, you must adjust HSL to your choice before clicking "OK." If you don't like the default and want to just leave the image as-is click "Cancel" and no changes will be made.

I hope this answers your question, this is how the HSL mode behaves for me.

Yes I know but it must change it in some way even if you adjust it past defult.

Am I right?

Thanks

If you make any adjustments even past default then of course it will change it. If you don't like what it does then it is simple to either change it to what you want or cancel out and not make any changes at all.

No, you dont understand.. It changes the color slightly red on default, so that means even when I adjusted it, it is always going to add a slighly red hue to my image on top of what I just did.

Thanks again.

I shall go home and check out mine but I've never noticed that it does this before.

Well I remembered to check it out last night and mine doesn't do this. I don't know what to suggest. Maybe it's something to do with your setup. Really difficult to say.

Sorry
