    thank you. I did go to that folder, but it's only showing me the pre-installed backgrounds. Also, I went to IE options and did not see a box with the "set as background", or user profile.Is the profile in windows? The beginning of your post was garbled, so I'm not sure if I missed a link...

    My shortcuts on my desktop that are not programs will not open the site. They go to the printer screen. I have not, to the best of my knowledge changed any settings. The same sites in My Favorites will open and installed progams shortcuts will open on the desktop. This just started yesterday...

    Since the recorder also works on the desktop app., is it possible it's conflicted? If they are suggesting a restore, you may want to start from scratch. Do a Hot sync.. and then reinstall your software. You may want to completely remove the old software(should). It doesn't sound like they think...

    There are times(most), when I go to a link with sound and can't get the sound, even though I successfully get to the link. I have sound on and can get sound in other applications. I use Earthlink sometimes for mail and that's where I have the problem. What do I need to look at for a solution? Thanks
