Hi Folks,
Appreciate any help available! I've taken over a Citrix Server Farm consisting of 2 servers and an Access Gateway (I think).
Client access works fine, but when a user tries to access Citrix via Web, they get a "The resource is no longer available ...." error message from the Access...
Pete,
A good idea but really not worth the risks that have been outlined here, especially when dealing with HIPAA compliance. Get the wireless off of your production network, it's just not 100% safe and you're putting your business in jeopardy. Also, those laptops are going to be nothing but...
Are you talking about the google search bar being replaced by the Yahoo search bar? If this is the case, uninstall the yahoo bar and reinstall the google one (or do what lb said if thats what you were talking about).

Actually Ghost probably can see the partition, it's the msdos or pcdos shell that can't see it. I've recently done something similar and I needed to execute Ghost via command line. The following is the command/arguments that I used:
ghost -clone,mode=restore,src=1:2,dst=1:1 -sure
This tells...
Sounds like USB is disabled. Can you go into the BIOS and confirm? (or deny).
Sounds like the rogue PC might also have a firewall turned on, I'd also be wiling to bet that PC is loaded with a bunch of 3rd party stuff.

How do I change someone's account so it belongs to a role? And what's going to happen when I create the user's account again (They're staying within the company, just changing job functions).
Thanks!

hmmmm, yes .... what if you formated the second partition fat32 (with fdisk from a bootable floppy), can Ghost make the distinction? Otherwise, what if you change the active partition? Does that change which partition it sees? (you can tell by what size it says it is). Let me know, lets tackle...
Launch IE, go to tools > internet options and select the security tab. Click the Internet icon and choose custom, this is where you can configure your active X controls. While you probably won't be able to identify which control you need to manipulate, a bit of "try this and see if it works"...
Does it matter if it sees the partition? Do you have another OS installed on the drive? As long as Ghost sees the drive you should be able to image it. Also, you have an image ON a CD??? I've never seen an image under 1 GB.

Hi,
We have an admin changing her role within the company and another admin changing her role to the other admin's position. Both people have created recurring appointments for their bosses. When they are moved to their new position, they will lose delegate rights and cause Calendar issues in...
I don't believe that's possible. What you could try would be to drop the image over the xp install you just did and then use the XP CD's auto recovery tool to "fix" that image so the system boots.

Let's forget about the brother for now ...
Is the HP connected to anything now? You mention it's being "shared" how do you mean? I'm asking because if this printer is being shared, the rest of your statement doesn't make sense. Paint the picture a little better for me and I'll try to help.

I don't think the issues are related unless you're system is infected. Do you have AV software? is it up to date? What OS? is it fully patched?
As far as the printer: delete it, go to the manufacturers website and get the latest driver/software package and install.
As far as the display: If...
Stops? If you boot from the CD, initial drivers and files should load and then you should be prompted to either install or fix using recovery console. chkdsk will (hopefully) repair any bad sectors but if XP has some corrupted files you may need to do a full repair. Give us some more info and...
I believe guitarzan is correct, it's the Quick Launch bar you're looking at. Simply copy and paste from one Quick launch folder to the other. Make sure the user you're copying for has already enabled the Quick Launch bar (Right click the task bar > toolbars > quick launch). Any credential...
A rogue service perhaps?
Check to see if you have any "odd" service installed and disable it if so.
Also, I believe there is a way to configure the MMC so you can configure boot options to isolate the issue but I don't have the time at the moment to walk you through that.
Can someone else...
Remove any and all temp files (Temporary Internet, cookies, history and the temp folder). Go to start > run and type cmd (or command if it's not w2k or wxp) hit enter.
type ipconfig /flushdns after that runs, type ipconfig /registerdns Next, power off the laptop, leave it off for a minute, power...
