I have a G3r and it is connected to an Octel-300. The issue is when a caller goes thru the dial by name and it is an agent who is logged in to a skill, the call attempts to transfer from the Octel but is dropped ( discon ).We run a trace in the G3r and it does show the call coming in. Any ideas...

Yes, dial by name. The agent has a log in ID and the callmaster phone has an extension / TN associated. If the agent is not logged in then the call will process, if they are logged in then the call is disconnected.
dines...why would you ever want to do this ?? You are opening up the door for hackers to come into your system and go out your LD. This could cost you big $$$$ let alone allow anyone on your system to transfer a call out. Just some advice
