Figured this out. Apparently, because there is no Geometry, spatial search does not detect text objects because there is nothing to be "contained in".
I found that if I set the fill of the text objects to white or some color, spatial search can find the text objects.

I am working with the axDrawingControl using Csharp and I noticed that spatialsearch can't find text shapes.
Spatialsearch can't find groups unless it has some geometry. I thought the same might be true for text but apparently not. There is clearly something in the text shape that is not...
I have a USB hard drive on Windows XP which won't mount when I reboot with an error dmboot: no mountpoint.
This is an internal drive that I put in a USB external case so that I could use it as a backup. The drive itself works fine, I just have to reactivate it everytime I reboot or log out...
You want to turn Wrap ON for the entire column. As xlbo say, wrap is a cell attribute and does not move with the data. Wrap is a property that is on or off for a cell regardless of how much text is in the cell.
If you have Wrap on, the cells will autofit based on the data in the cell after the...
To use mail merge you need one record per letter.
I'm not a Pivot Table expert but it seems like you should be able to generate a new table using Excel with
Colin, Dog,Cat, Fish
that you could subsequently use for your mail merge input in Word.

What smah said is correct.
Use Tools > Email accounts to create separate accounts for each email. You should use the appropriate pop & smtp settings for each individual mail server.
At this point, all the email will be fetched from each server and dumped into the Inbox. The emails will be...
Outlook 2003 SP2
I have multiple email accounts that I bring into Outlook and separate into different folders.
I archive the folders into separate PST files but in my folder list in Outlook, these both appear as "Archive Folders".
The PST files have different names. And Outlook knows that...
In Outlook 2003, I have not been able to find an easy way to do this where you have separate inboxes.
Rather, I have separate email account setup which pull the emails directly from the pop server, matching subfolders and a rule which moves all the mail on receipt from a specific mail server...
Thanks, I will check that. That makes sense. I didn't realize that you could create a style with text.
I do appreciate all the discussion about styles and the need for styles. I normally use styles. But this is a template that I inherited and it is a horrible mess. I should probably take the...
In MS Word 2003 SP2, I use the Format Painter to clean up documents and get some consistency without having to deal with styles.
However, in some situations, when I use the Format Painter, it pastes in a chunk of text! The text is not from the existing document though it appears to be from a...
...occassionally see text enclosed by light grey square brackets. These brackets are not part of the text -- they are symbols that apparently signify *something* in Word but I have no idea what it is.
This is not really a problem -- it is just driving me nuts to see these symbols and not know...
This is clearly a bug. The only difference with this particular contact is that the person had a compound first name "Juan Carlos". The window pops up that asks what his first name is and I select "Juan Carlos". Subsequently, the email always comes up twice in the address field of an email.
I...
I have come across a very strange problem.
For _one_ particular contact, the ACT email client doubles the email address when sending an email.
That is, you are composing a new email, you type in the contact name and boom it shows up twice in the To: field. If you delete one, it come back...
In Outlook, after receiving an email with a hotlink and clicking on the hotlink, it takes minutes to open Internet Explorer. Once it opens, the webpage shows up immediately. But during this time, Outlook is non-responsive.
It's usually faster to kill outlook, restart it, then cut & paste the...
Somehow on my version of Dreamweaver MX, the default image editor is set to "ois" which is the crappy Windows viewer.
So if I right click an image file, it comes up with "ois" or "Browse" every time.
How do I get Fireworks set to the default editor?
Yes and No. The best I managed was to use Adobe Acrobat (the full version) which allows you to pull an entire web site into a document.
You can then print the PDF with 4 pages (or more) per page. This works pretty well except for the following:
1) Acrobat reformats the pages usually ok except...
