...However, if I want to hit anything else at .def.com I have to manually enter this in, such as www.def.com.
Is there a way to just add the few DNS entries I need to def.com and have the rest (*.def.com) go out to the internet for DNS?
Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks for the help!
I haven't been able to find a good answer with google. So hopefully someone here can help.
I was tasked with fixing our DC's. Our primary failed and had to be restored. I was able to get replication working again. Now our secondary controller went belly up and I'm having issues with the primary...
I have, but it generates the host name with the domain name, and I'm trying to find a way to export *.domain.com instead of vcs.domain.com. I have not done this before outside of IIS or our domain controller, and I'm not sure if using one of those to generate the initial CSR would work. Then add...

I'm trying to issue a wildcard cert for our Cisco VCS. I have purchased the wildcard cert, but I'm not sure how to create the CSR to obtain the wildcard cert for the domain.

I'm sure I'm only missing one call-flow that I can easily redo. As long as everything else works, I'll be a happy camper.
Thanks for all the help everyone!!!
OK, I did find a slightly older .mdb backup. My question is, if I import this, does this do anything to the mailboxes such as their personal greetings, or will this just update the call flow?
So... I upgraded VMPro, and chose the save as option and export option. I unfortunately saved the export in the same folder as VMPro. Now that DB is blank. Everything still works but I don't see the call flows anymore. Is there anything I can do? I can see all my call flows in the vmp file, but...
I can't seem to figure out how to connect to our ASA from a separate external address. From the same IP subnet I can obviously connect, but from a different external IP from the internet I cannot.
Any suggestions?
I'm just trying to get the application to test. If it works the way we need it, then we will purchase it. I dont' want to purchase before testing it out. With all the other software we have purchased from Cisco, we have been able to download it from the site. Also, we are using VMware to test...
I cannot for the life of me find a bootable UCCX ISO. Can anyone help me find this, or tell me if Cisco's site is the wrong place? I've read that it is bundled with UCOS, but I cannot find the bundle either. I can find the upgrade software on Cisco's site, but nothing that is bootable.

...complete this task. I would like to try his method first, before introducing any other possible issues. I'm trying to figure out how to accomplish the recommendation for the Incoming call route using the *** URI. I don't know if I simply use ***, or if this needs to be replaced with something...
amriddle01 - Can you give me an example on how to set this up? I'm sending a 9 with the number to the IPO so I can route it to the outside. How would I do this with the URI? Sorry, I'm a little new to SIP. Thanks for the quick reply.
I am having a problem using the IPO to make outside calls from CUCM. I have a SIP trunk between the 2 and I can see in the monitor that the number hits the IPO trunk, but doesn't go anywhere. I can make calls to extensions on the IPO fine, but not outside calls.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks...
About 2 weeks ago, all my Dell switches stopped responding to SNMP. I first noticed that Solarwinds was getting an unknown on polling the interfaces for the switches. I then did a SNMP walk and nothing. Nothing that I know of has changed in our environment, especially something with SNMP. No...
I'm a little unsure if we need another license or not, so I figured someone on here would know. We purchased the upgrade license to go from 8.0 to 8.1.44.
Will I need another upgrade license to go from 8.1.44 to 8.1.52?
I have installed the latest linux version of the One-x Portal. It seems that every weekend the presence piece stops working, which i believe is the Openfire application that gets messed up. I cannot find anything in the logs to indicate why. Our softphones just say, account partially enabled...
What I'm trying to understand is, can an ip-access list be applied to a specific gig port? Right now, all of our ports are on the same vlan, and the default gateway and ip route are the ISP's gateway.
Can I apply an ACL to the port that connects to the ISP and manage traffic that way? This...
