    how to set up ACT-mail

Sorry for the delay... ACT! by Sage 2007 (9.0) Version 9.0.0.557 I use both IE and Firefox. My Email messages must "come from" my virtual domain address in order for the other side to be able to "return" rather than keystroking. In other words, I don't want the "return" to go to some other...

    how to set up ACT-mail

My email address uses the name of my "virtual domain" ...that's how it was set up by my ISP long ago. Perhaps that's a regional term. Instead of djon43@compuserve.com or whatever, it's djon43@myvirtualdomain.com. Yes, my website uses the name of my virtual domain is reached the way we usually...

    how to set up ACT-mail

My virtual domain's email address is like this: georgebush@dickcheneyenron.com As a backup I use georgie@yahooters.com (webmail). I WANT to use Act-mail with the virtual domain address. Is that possible? If not, must I sign up with Microsoft's system and must that email address be...

    ACT! 9 backup...zip only?

ACT9 seems to back up (HD) only in Stuffit Zip format. Older versions backed up without zip. Is this the nature of ACT9, or am I missing a setting.. ... or? djon

    Expanding Notes Section

I've had amazingly good help from Egrabber : South Asian folks, therefore they speak functional English (ie. not Texans!), and they work (usually) from Silicon Valley. Speaking with them a dozen times in five years, they've never put me in a queue. Sometimes they've required a callback...

    Expanding Notes Section

I can't speak for Ryan, but I'd like to read the resume in Notes, with basic formatting (spacing). ACT is used on the fly for many, much like a Daytimer... an active contact manager as much as research tool or database.

schedules don't appear in notes 2005

Thanks..that Dashboard probably makes sense, but $499 is too steep for me.

    Expanding Notes Section

I mistakenly said I used ResumeGrabber...I did a few years ago but for reasons I don't recall, it didn't fit my particular workflow. ListGrabber serves my purposes. Notes in 7 (2005) are limited to small-x-number of characters or lines. Resumes have to be filed as Word docs. To save contact...

schedules don't appear in notes 2005

I'd like to go to a contact, see when we last talked, about what, and what's next...(and do I have this guy's resume). Sudden total recall :-)

schedules don't appear in notes 2005

Is there a way to combine Notes and Activities so they're all together, not requiring back/forth clicking?

    link resumes to contacts? 2005/MSword

OOPS> 2005. btw, do you find later versions of ACT! faster than 2005 on XP?

    link resumes to contacts? 2005/MSword

I get lots of resumes...how can I link MSWord doc and a contact...ithout hunting through hard drive...?

    Expanding Notes Section

I'm having the same issue with 2005. I don't think earlier releases had this shortcoming. I'll ask separately "how link MSWord to contact?" ...should know the answer, but..

schedules don't appear in notes 2005

I've used ACT! since 1989...in 2005 future schedule stopped automatically appearing in notes...was very crucial in earlier releases. I'd like to find schedule from contact page, rather than having to enter separately in notes or hunt thru calendar.
