schedules don't appear in notes 2005 1

I've used ACT! since 1989...in 2005 future schedule stopped automatically appearing in notes...was very crucial in earlier releases.

I'd like to find schedule from contact page, rather than having to enter separately in notes or hunt thru calendar.
 
Activities/appointments for contacts appear in 3 places: the calendars, the Task List, and on the Activities tab of the contact record - not on the Notes tab. After the activity is cleared it moves from the Activities tab to the History tab. Before ACT 2005/v7 cleared activities moved to the combined Notes/History tab.
 
Is there a way to combine Notes and Activities so they're all together, not requiring back/forth clicking?
 
I'd like to go to a contact, see when we last talked, about what, and what's next...(and do I have this guy's resume).

With normal ACT!, you'll need to click the different tabs... this has always been the way ACT! works. Maybe have a look at Dashboard -
It might have what you're looking for. Fred (the boss there) is a great guy.

If not, I know a couple of add-on guys that might have played with making both visual at the same time.

Thanks..that Dashboard probably makes sense, but $499 is too steep for me.
