We recently converted from Crystal 8.5/VFP8 to Crystal XI/VFP9. I have added the crystal activex viewer to a form to allow previewing (which works fine). The problem is that when the user previews the report and prints the first time it works without a problem. The second time the user tries...
Gary,
I don't remember seeing this option in 8.5 but thank you for letting me know that it is in 10. I just remember having problems with that when I started using Crystal reports.
Thanks,
Cristina

Something that I've learned and is good to keep in mind when working with groups in Crystal 8.5 at least (I have not tried it in V10 yet) is to be careful of the "Keep Group Together" option in the Group definition. I've seen the report leave the first page completelly blank and then print the...
I'm trying to redo all of the graphs in our system but I have a slight problem that I am hoping someone can help me out with. The graph shows (for every month) three bars one for service sales one for retail sales and one for tanning sales. However, I would like to supress the bars when the...
When I purchased the upgrade to Crystal 10 my sales person from Business Objects told me that Crystal XI would be available early in 2005. Her words were probably sometime in January!!! But for all of those of us that are in the software business we know that deadlines and release dates aren't...
Is it possible to link a picture file from crystal 8.5 to a file on the computer. I would like to link a picture on the report to a file that exists in the same place as the data for the report but I can't seem to figure out how. The reason why I need to do this is so the customer can change...
Thank you guys for all of your help. K, the conversion that you supplied did the trick. I don't know why ${table.field} did not work though. But it is working fine now. Thank you again for helping me out.[smile2]

Lisa,
That is what I thought as well but when I checked my regional settings it is set up to show negatives with the '-' symbol not with the (). I want it to change with the regional settings since I want the user to decide how negatives are viewed but it is not changing with the regional...
I am using Crystal Reports 8.5 and I have made changes to currency fields using the '$' sign which is working great at changing the currency symbol in international settings. However, if the currency is negative it now prints as '($42)' instead of printing as '-$42'. I don't want to force it...
We're currently using 8.5 maybe that is why it does not work for us. With 8.5 as soon as you select currency symbol it selects the $ which is ok because we are in the US but I tried changing my windows default to British and it didn't work it kept the $.
Hi,
We are trying to sell our program to people in London and we were wondering if there was a way to have crystal default the currency symbol to whatever the windows default is. Right now it is set to $ and we can't seem to figure out how to change it without hardcoding the symbol on all...
