Is anyone else seeing DTMF issues in 11.1? We upgrade to 11.1 a couple of months back as advised by Avaya to fix a completely different issue and straight away DTMF wasn't recognised by any external auto attendants. Logged an SR and was advised to switch to Inband DTMF which "fixed" it for 80%...
It seems that if you put a handset into DND it doesn't show to other users in IX, should it please? I have tried DND buttons as well as Send All Calls.
IPO SE 11.1
Thanks
Seeing a strange issue with call pickup in IX when using Jabra headset. Users are dialling *53*350# in IX to pickup ringing call but this only works when not using headset. Using headset you just get a long pause and the call doesn't connect.
Any ideas?
Hi
Have an analog warehouse bell connected at a remote site via a cisco ATA, which rings when called however the handset making the call continues to display “Enter Destination” as the bell rings and the bell doesn’t stop ringing when putting the receiver down.
The ATA is setup as a SIP phone...
I do and did but missed that one! Just looked for confirmation online too, but it must have been quite a while back as you say... 9.1 works, which made me think 10 would be ok. doh.
Thanks!
Hi
Anyone else having problems installing 10.1 manager on XP? I've tried installing the lite and full version but get message saying the file cannot be found?! I've tried running from C: and from the temp folder but get same result. I've tried removing 9.1 first (which installed ok originally)...
Just to update, the IP handsets and link to remote office were down when I visited site and as soon as I move the LAN cable from one switch to another both the handsets and the link came straight up without having to reboot the system so looks like it was the netgear switch port that was faulty...
Does anyone know how you would go about overflowing a users calls from desk, to dect, to huntgroup on a MiVoice 250? Can get the desk twinning with the dect but can't get the call to then overflow.
Using a phantom set to forward to the huntgroup as the "home IP" destination, as cannot set a...
I've left pings running to the address so we'll see next time it goes down.
Their IT partner assures me that the IPO address is out of the DHCP range........
Have an issue with an IP500 V2 unit on 8.1 randomly dropping off the local LAN every few days. When it is down we can still get to the system via the ISDN lines and all appears to be well, however the IP phones onsite lose sight of the IPO and the SCN goes down.
before I start laying into the...
Anyone know if you need to do anything in PLDS before upgrading from 10.0 to 10.1 or if you just put the upgrade straight through on the system? The docs talk about PLDS and One-Source but don't make it clear.
Thanks
I had changed the WAN routing type to ROUTING instead of NAT as part of trying to resolve the issue, and when changing back to NAT I was then able to ping out, so can only assume the draytek was playing up following a recent firmware upgrade!
Thanks
Hi
I'm going grey trying to work out why our server edition is unable to ping any local or external addresses, despite our VPN to the router it is connected to being up and us being able to get to the system either across the vpn or via the routers public IP/forwarded ports.. This issue means...
Primary server rebuilt whilst handsets failed over to secondary. Once primary rebuilt handsets returned to primary and kept their base numbers.
Voicemail working correctly following the rebuild.
The only issue i'm getting now is an error when opening config regarding http access 401...
Giving up waiting for Avaya to come back with a fix and am going to rebuild the primary server from scratch. Waiting for the pesky customer to get off the phone; should the SIP calls reain in progress when the handsets fail over to the secondary server?
Also, will voicemail pro call flows etc...
I started copying the whole wavs directory but it was ridiculously slow, been meaning to go back and just copy the relevant country specific files but not sure which to copy.
I believe I was only able to log in as Administrator so I'll keep your tip in mind when I look at it again thanks
