Hey Dejay-
On the bottom left and bottom right hand corners, there should be numbers
ie: bottom left: 394
bottom right 121
all you need to do is add the 2 nubers together. In this case it would be
394
+ 121

Which windows are you using. The drivers are will not work with win95, or win98. It will work:
Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP4 English
Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 English
Microsoft Windows XP Embedded SP2
But it doesn't say either way about NT? curious...
I'm sure...
I have had the same problem before. Sometimes in Aloha, if you have both netbui and tcp/ip running, the server wont take over the front of house. What I ended up doing is deleting netbui from the terminals and the boh, and everything worked fine.
hope this helps.
A couple of things for you.
If you control alt delete and close aloha that way, it should not reboot your terminals.
Also:
I work for a pretty decent size food chain, in which our service time is pretty quick. We have over 500 stores. We use Aloha, and EDC. We have been processing...
Thanks for the all the input on this guys. It turns out my problem was that Netbui was interfering with TCP/IP. That is why the foh and the server were not syncing. Well I hope this can help some of you in the future =).
OK, I am kind of an idiot, but, I copied Alohaqs from the boh server to the foh terms. Happily, they boot up, but for some reason they are STILL not connecting to the server. So they are now running in redundancy. Unfortunately for me, I still need to program some items on the reg so I am...
ok I have a little more info. It seems that the file server is running 4.274 while the terms are running 4.239. could this be why the terms are not contacting the server? If so is there anything I can do. also iberconfig on term 2 is: set term=2 on term 1: set term=1 both say: set...
thanks for responding. 1 thing I forgot to mention is that term 2 was made from a clone of term 1. Then I changed what I said above. How would I go about flagging the terminal? I thought that it should just go into redundancy if it couldnt find back of house or the other term.?
I am running aloha 4.239. I have 2 wedge terminals. Term 1 boots up and gets error Initialize: can't find terminal 1. Term 2 boots up and says, Numterms indicates 2 termials, but 1 are defined. term 1 is set up as term 1 in aloha.ini and is set as term 1 in network settings...
Well when all else fails-
SBC will give you the password to get into the router(well the person who has the account.) Just call sbc and they should have the ip or url in thier system. The sbc guys who I dealt with were nice guys. If you have any questions setting up the caymen router after...

I use pc anywhere and a caymen router to get into my store. I set it up as well as 3 other stores with the caymen and 5 stores with a linksys (coulndt use sbc for those). It has been a while since I set them up, but 192.168.1.1 I believe was the original IP address, but you should...
