I have a 9620 that was converted to SIP (not by me,) and the customer would like to use it as a regular extension now. How do I convert it back to H.323?
There is no Call Server item in the address menu, and displays No Call Server during boot. Every time the phone boots up, it is in SIP mode...
That doesn't solve the problem. There has to be a trigger for the sync. There has to be a way to power cycle the exchange server (or if there is a power outage, and reboots,) and have the sync restart without having to restart the VM server. Every time there is a network issue, they lose the...
Running IPO 500v2 6.1.16 with VM Pro VM Pro is set up with integration to Exchange server 2007. The exchange server has to run windows updates, (I don't know why, but IT says it does...) Everytime it reboots after an update, the VM Pro stops all message notifications. Lights do not come on...
I have a customer with an Asterisk system and about 30 Grandstream SIP phones. We are looking to switch them to an IP Office 500 and add 20 (digital) phones, if they can keep their Grandstream phones. The only feature I can't seem to find an answer for is whether or not an all-page, or dial...
OK Djmtrar and tlpeter:
Added the prefix (9) and 1 in the onex portal and it works (I use my cellphone so much, I forget you have to dial a 1 for long distance on land lines...stupid mistake!) It now works on my phone! Thank you!
Then I got brave and added a second phone (an iphone)
It...

Even though I ran the windows fire wall batch file, 5222 was being blocked by the windows firewall. I manually added a rule and can telnet to both ports internally and externally. The app now connects. The twinning is enabled with the correct number. When I try to place a call from...
Djmtrar - I can telnet to 8444 on the FQDN, but not 5222 - I am checking my firewall now.
I did set the same FQDN on my LAN as well as the actual domain on the WAN side. Should I try the IP address instead of the FQDN on a local wifi connection? According to the manual, the error I am getting...
I am looking for help on this as well. I am running the windows version (Windows server 2008.) I followed the instructions for setting up the portal, as well as teh onex mobile config instructions. I did run the Avaya Windows fire wall batch file to open all the ports. I set up the port...
What is the maximum number of IPO 500 v2's that can be tied together and use Centralized VM? Does this affect the maximum number of users per system? Thanks in advance!
Both of the FVS318 are V3 3_0_28 firmware, which is the most recent. No updates available. I am ready to give up on Netgear...
Any suggestions on a replacement firewall that is economical? I am currently looking at a Cisco RV042-NA or SonicWall TZ-200, but don't want to swap out if it is not...

i have an IProute configured with IP Address
anything wrong with it?
192.198.1.0 ~ remote lan
IP Mask - 255.255.2555.0 ~ remote mask
gateway IP address - 10.10.1.254 ~ local gateway
Destination - LAN1
Solution:
Goto line > SIP Line > Use Network Topology Info; put it on "None" then it will use the IP route as the gateway address.
We did exactly the same upgrade but fixed the problem with the above solution.
Yes I can ping it locally on their local network – at their main office – the only router we have there is the netgear FVs318.
At the remote location, I can ping everything but the pbx/control unit through the vpn
New Install
Having issues with hooking at remote location with Netgear FVs318 and 9608 IP Phone.
