    46xx VPN Settings

Does anyone know the mute command for entering the vpn settings of a 46xx phone after it has already authenticated? I've tried mute (VPN) and mute (VPNMOD). I need to view the Phase 1 and Phase 2 settings again...I entered them manually and now need to set up my .txt file. Thanks.

    412 Upgrade 3.2(57) to 5.0.22

Now can I load the .cfg file that I have at 3.2.57? Or must I downgrade, load the .cfg, then upgrade?

    412 Upgrade 3.2(57) to 5.0.22

I loaded manager, and used DTE maintenance for this procedure(I'm moving forward finally!): Procedure: Erasing the Core Software via Debug 1. Run Manager. In the BOOTP entries, check that there is an entry that matches the MAC Address, IP Address and .bin file used by the system (the first two...

    412 Upgrade 3.2(57) to 5.0.22

I tried to go straight to 5.0.22, it failed immediately. I'm now downloading 4.2 manager to see if it will recognize those .bin files.

    412 Upgrade 3.2(57) to 5.0.22

This is the directory for both: C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Manager\V3_2_999 Still nothing on the upgrade wizard.

    412 Upgrade 3.2(57) to 5.0.22

Ip office 412 at 3.2.57 having issues with 5.0.22 manager seeing the bin files for 3.2.999, 4.2, any others. This should be a step upgrade process, but the only .bin files manager recognizes is the ones in the default directory for 5.0.22. Thanks, Shike

    302C Console Operation

Thanks both. I do have tenant partitions, so routing to "attd" would not work for all of them (there are 4). I'll review the document...thanks for the heads up. Ben

    302C Console Operation

I have a user that swears that the a, b, c, d buttons would beep and blink for additional calls to the console attendant. I recently re-installed a G3si V11 for them and now the "Individual Calls Waiting" light comes on for subsequent calls after the first. I can't find any doc's that...

Not very, they are on the latest 4.1 patch, but another vendor had been taking care of this network until recently. Could prove useful, thanks.

Copying .wav file to VAL board TN2501AP

From an old document I had (C:\val is the directory where the files are fyi, could be whatever you choose) Type, “enable filesystem board xxxxx” The login is “val” Then add password, “val11234567” When finished with back up type “disable filesystem board xxxxx” To restore from the saved...

    fax:Relay modem:off vs. fax:Relay modem:PT

Thanks for the responses. To kprfe: I tried pass-through, relay, t.38, all with the same result of "off" rather than "PT". It may indeed be either or both of Nick44's resolution, as it mainly is failing from one location. Thanks, I've got the fax server vendor involved now, we'll see what...

    Voicemail

I have always had to build a mailbox for that extension before it would allow for transfers from Audix, regardless of whether the mailbox is needed, this is a quick fix.

    fax:Relay modem:off vs. fax:Relay modem:PT

CMs8700 with CM release 4.0.1.731.2. From anywhere, faxes work fine fax to fax machine. Faxes work fine from "some" fax machines into a fax server, others (from one location, port network 5) hang and fail. Having the same network region, ip-codec. The only difference I can find in the two...
