    Aloha 5.3.9 Store Settings?

You are right. I'm a dummy. Someone else was logged into Aloha Manager and I assumed they had the correct security level.

    Aloha Debout

You got me on the right track... thanks a ton. If you are ever at Disneyland, Anaheim, I owe you a cold one. Here's the entry: aloha\bin> alohaspy /service /debug Brian

    Aloha Debout

I did add DEBOUTALOHASPY=TRUE to the Aloha.ini. How would I add the debug option to the service startup parameters? When I run cmd Aloha\bin:> alohaspy /debug, it gives me an error message.

    Aloha Debout

Actually, Alohaspy is run as a service set to start automatically. The service is registered by Aloha\bin:> alohaspy /service

    Aloha Debout

Anyone know how to start the debug services using different options? I know there is a way to capture more detail than in the standard setup. Thanks

    Live monitoring of Aloha

Russ, The problem with what you want to do is that bartenders don't do things in order - 1) take the order from customer, 2) enter order into POS, 3) make drinks, 4) serve drinks. They do these steps out of order, especially when it's busy. In my opinion, it is impossible to find out what was...

Radiant POS integration with DVR Cameras

Wow. Does the customer love it? You know, Aloha has free software called Alohaspy that sends all transactions from the workstations to the server, then out one serial port. No cabling, no AVE boxes. Unfortunately, it was written a few years ago and it is unsupported and poorly documented. A...

Radiant POS integration with DVR Cameras

Alohaspy needs additional software on the DVR end to get anything intelligible. The touch-by-touch messages need to be filtered, compiled by terminal and by check no. and displayed in a more logical order. Everybody that connects to Alohaspy discovers this and realizes they need the software...
