Fish Pole Maintenance
Rubbing against metal studs seems to cause splintering with mine. A quick rub with some fine sandpaper will knock down any sharp edges. It takes much longer to smooth using just your bare hands, and it's a lot more painful! Or so I've heard. Yeah. That's the ticket! -

Pabxer, where are you located? The only reference I can find to this panel is on Russian web sites. Not that it really matters. Your contractor is blowing smoke. There are no Category 5e rated panels that require proprietary cabling. This wouldn't be an electrical contractor, would it? ;)... -
