Firewire converter

Hi,
My boss just bought a new digital video camera. To put the video on the computer I need a firewire cable. The computer I'm working on does not have a firewire port. I was just wondering if there is such a thing as a firewire converter - to convert to maybe usb so that I could then connect it to the computer?
Any help apprecitated.

There is, but at that price, you'd be better off just buying a firewire card for the PC:
