Hi All
We are running IPO 6.0 (18) with embedded vm. SMTP was working fine until today. Now I am seeing this in the monitor
575150mS SNMPMgmt: Initialising communications to SMTP Server [IP Address = 199.193.204.99, port 25)
575150mS SNMPMgmt: EMail list is now 2 records long...
I connected to a LAN on a IP Phone and I see the trace run to the SMNP leaving the LAN 2 port and reaching the server with no issues. But when I do a monitor for IP traffic and watch the SMNP I only see the service wake up and snooze all within a millisecond, my guess is it never try to send...
We do not have a default IP route in the IP Office because of security. I am only routing the address of the SMTP to the DG via LAN2. What is weird is I never see the IP office even try to contact the server. When I watch the log I see the SMTP awake and instantly go to snoozing. Is there...
Hello
I have a quick question. When the SMTP service try's to send an email from the embedded VM what IP address does it use to originate the message from? I ask because the public side of the IP office 500 V2 is connected to the public side of the network on LAN 2. We use LAN 1 for the...
It says we have a 12 port Virtual Avaya IP Endpoints license is this what covers the SIP trunking? As for dealing with the last dealer I would rather have a draino on the rocks then deal with them anymore. How can I get the license to fix this?
I have a lot experience fighting toll fraud for as a consultant for many telco's. The people who hack these systems use the hacked capacity to sell on the black market or even the legit wholesale long distance market. They usually like to hit the PBX hard over a weekend because no one will...
Hi
We purchaed an IP Office 500V2 R7 from a vendor to upgrade our old IP Office 403 because we need SIP capability. The vendor told us R7 did not need any software license to use SIP unlike R8 and up. However this unit is not working because of a lack of license I think. Here are some data...
I have no idea we just purchased this unit it was supposed to have V7.0 on it so we would not have any license issues. I am upgrading from an IP Office 403 so we can use SIP. So I guess the answer is to send it back again or is there an easy way for me to fix this?
Hi
I am getting a message saying "Telephony services on IP Office have been suspended until a valid software license is installed" I have the SD card installed but as I understand it V7 does not have the same license issues as later versions.
Please advise
Thanks

Yes the 12 is a typo. As for the CSU issue this is an inhouse DS1 that connects to our own 5ESS so its not required. The weird thing is when I go to restore it it says board mismatch. If i reset the board then restore it, its fine.
I just need to know if the RJ45 on this 100DCD works the...
