With all due respect I have never done an ASA upgrade and have done a considerable amount of research verifying your advise and have read conflicting info so I did open a TAC case as the recommended version 9.1 (6.11) was not on their site...

Actually I checked with TAC on this and they recommend the upgrade path 9.1.1  9.1.2  9.1.6.11 (9.1 7 has been removed).

Can I go directly from 9.1.1 to 9.1.7? Or is there another version I should go to first?

Thanks, that was my fear... what happens when the announcement is overwriting and it is being played. Thats why I always configured a new announcement and replaced in the vector - can be a lot more work tho

OK I don't think there is a way but there should be... we use analog exts to activate relays for remote door release so I assign a COR to this analog extension and only allow users who need to release the door access to call that COR... great! Problem is I have hundreds of COR's that I now have...
