    ACL help

I am applying directional acl's on a vlan software interface. The acl is basically to protect that subnet from the rest on the greater network, only allowing necessary traffic in/out. My core 6500 where the acl resides is behind an ASA5515 restricting inside access to the internet via another...

    ASA upgrade 9.1.1 to 9.1.7

I have 5515's and 9.1(7) has been removed due to issues. With all due respect I have never done an ASA upgrade and have done a considerable amount of research verifying your advise and have read conflicting info so I did open a TAC case as the recommended version 9.1 (6.11) was not on their site...

    ASA upgrade 9.1.1 to 9.1.7

Actually I checked with TAC on this and they recommend the upgrade path 9.1.1  9.1.2  9.1.6.11 (9.1 7 has been removed).

    Mass replace announcements

Thanks, that was my fear... what happens when the announcement is overwriting and it is being played. Thats why I always configured a new announcement and replaced in the vector - can be a lot more work tho

    Mass replace announcements

Can anyone comment... Is this the best method to change an announcement (overwrite a live announcement using the same file-name/ext)? I was always under the assumption it was best to configure a new announcement/ext and replace the announcement ext in the vector. I was under the assumption the...

    Mass COR changes....

Thanks for clearing that up monty, the options I believe you refer to are for permissions to call other cor's not denying their ability to call you.

    Mass COR changes....

fat that would be even more work, every cor is unique

    Mass COR changes....

OK I don't think there is a way but there should be... we use analog exts to activate relays for remote door release so I assign a COR to this analog extension and only allow users who need to release the door access to call that COR... great! Problem is I have hundreds of COR's that I now have...
