Ah k, I think it's attempting to open the JAR files as an archive and delete the JndiLookup.class file. It doesn't appear to do that though as I've tested and the vulnerability is still there. So I assume the class is included with the library but not in use by OPI.

Instructions there are wrong in my experience, to rebuild those files you need to "MICROS Distributed Service Manager" then restart the "MICROS DB Update Service" then reload the database using Micros Control Panel. You can do the rename to .old too but I've never had an issue with it...
