Difference between NTAK11 and NT1P70AA cabinets - no TTY output

The biggest difference between the remote (NT1P70) and the core (NTAK11) cabinet that I can tell is the AUX port is a DB-15 instead of DB-9, which makes me think the pinouts may be different on the SDI also. Even with the remote carrier card I wasn’t getting any console either, so could be a bad...

Difference between NTAK11 and NT1P70AA cabinets - no TTY output

Hello all, It's been a moment since I've done a CS1000 lab - but we have an Option 11c SSC card (NTDK20JA) we'd like to use in an extra chassis we had around. We had a few extra NT1P70AA chassis around that were used for off-premise T1 remotes. We're wanting to use this lab to setup and clean...

AT&T Merlin 7318H Display Console Power Supply

Hello all, I’ve come across an AT&T Merlin Display (7318H) console phone. It is in very great shape, but did not come with a power supply. I have a Merlin Legend system I’d like to try and use it with but need an external PSU to drive the phone. There’s a 5-pin DIN connector on the bottom of...

Any information/firmware on the M5317T ISDN phones?

I came across a Meridian M5317TDX ISDN phone recently that used to be used with an SL-1 or DMS-100 system quite some time ago. I have a Cisco ISDN router with the proper card in my lab, so I plugged it in and was able to figure out getting it to make calls in and out. Apparently, there is a...

BCM50 DSM32+ last 16 ports stuck in Enabling mode...

Thanks for the help! It was the switches on the DSM32+ unit after all. Position 1 was down from it being in the BCM400. Once I had all the switches in the up position, I reinserted the module and the stations on both ports came up.

BCM50 DSM32+ last 16 ports stuck in Enabling mode...

Hello, I have a Nortel BCM50 that was migrated from the BCM400. We have a DSM32+ expansion module in it that we moved from the BCM400 and I cannot get the last 16 ports to go to Enabled. I can only get the first 16 to enable. We had ATA adapters on the last ports and I have even tried to put an...

Dialing between Nortel BCM 3.7 and Cisco CME via back to back T1/PRI

I figured it out. I failed to setup the call progress and call setup statuses on the Cisco side to basically tell the Nortel side why it was opening a trunk line. So essentially what the Cisco was doing was opening a trunk line. The BCM did not know what to do with it, and so it would disconnect...

Dialing between Nortel BCM 3.7 and Cisco CME via back to back T1/PRI

I've fixed one issue on the Cisco side with the number of destination digits. I increased the number to 4 expected digits to send.. and it does it on the Cisco side. However, what I am now seeing is- the Nortel phone will ring for a brief half-second, then disconnect. I can see the caller ID...

Dialing between Nortel BCM 3.7 and Cisco CME via back to back T1/PRI

Hi curlycord: I actually did. I setup Target Line 241 to receive digits "6750". I made it private to 6750 and prime to extension 6750. But the call still was rejected by the BCM.

Dialing between Nortel BCM 3.7 and Cisco CME via back to back T1/PRI

Hi all: I'm attempting to setup two-way calling between a Nortel BCM 3.7 and a Cisco CME (running on a Cisco 2811 router) via a back-to-back T1 PRI. I have the Cisco router setup as emulating the network side of the connection. I am able to call from the BCM -> CME, but when I attempt to call...

What year were the 6400 Digital Sets Introduced by Avaya/Lucent?

I couldn't have helped but stumble across this thread while I was digging up more information on the Avaya Aura platform. Currently, we have several CS1000's at my work that are going to become part of an Aura system (which as I understood it, and this forum verifies, are based on the Definity...

    Linking a BCM400 3.7 to a Cisco call manager express via T1

Hi all: I would like to explore the possibility of connecting a BCM400 3.7 to a Cisco Call Manager Express 2621XM router via T1 cross-over so that I can call between the systems. Currently, my BCM does not have a T1 card in it, so I would have to buy one. My 2621XM has one. Question is, do I...

    Norstar ATA compatibility with BCM400

I have a question of "will this work?". I've worked on BCM before, but have never tried what I am considering doing. I currently have an M8x24DS DR5 with several M7208, M7310, T7316, M7324, etc. phones. Also on this system are two ATA's and one ATA2 for modem, bell ringer, and alarm system...

PC Programming on Partner Plus 4.0

Question. I have an old Partner Plus 4.0 system sitting around, and I'd like to use a PC to program it if possible. It is just an 8x24 system. I don't have any phones for it, otherwise I'd hook up one and use the menu. But my question is, does anyone know of a PC program to administer these...

    MICS 2.0

Service modes should allow you to change which phones ring and for what lines. You'll have to enable it as well so it will change at the times you specify. John Panzer

    CallPilot 100/150 Voice prompt delay

On a CallPilot 100/150 with phones that have softkeys, when accessing the CallPilot interface, typically there is a 5 second delay until the voice prompts play. I think I know what the answer to this will be, but wanted to get some input from the community. Is there a way to change/eliminate...

ICSRT Worksheet Programming - Key order on phones

So with that said... Key 24 would be the lower right on a 7324, which would be Handsfree? With the M7310s.. Would the shifted keys be the lower keys in the workbook? It seems like they are reverse from how they are laid out. John Panzer

ICSRT Worksheet Programming - Key order on phones

It's been a good day since I've programmed a Norstar via ICS Remote Tools, and for the life of me, I cannot remember in the workbook under User Preferences 1/2/3 for Programming Buttons where keys count up from on the phones. I know that the Option 11/CS 1000 always had key 0 on the lower right...

    Just out of sheer curiosity...

Exactly, fireeater, and I think that's what the plan is/was. I don't know what is going to become of that, but they are in fact located on the same property. One building is at the extreme NW corner of the property, while the other is about midway in the SW corner of the property. It is an...
