Have a different phone ring after hours, NS700

Uh oh. Please forgive my ignorance, but is a DDI the full phone number? In this case, the main number for the school? Once I set that, do I then just set the principal's DDI as the night destination? Thanks for your help.

Have a different phone ring after hours, NS700

Thank you. Where do I set who's phone I want to have ring at night? Under extensions > wired extensions > extension settings > Intercept Destination?

Have a different phone ring after hours, NS700

Hi, I set daytime from 7 to 2:30 and then night time to start after that. What would I need to set up a break time for? And also, where do I assign who gets the calls at night time? Thanks.

Have a different phone ring after hours, NS700

I've got three staff phones ringing together during the school day currently on our NS700, but the principal of that school wants her phone to ring instead of the other three for a few hours after school. I thought this was set up through the Week Calendar, but it's apparently not working. What...

NS700, no message lamp and no voicemails

Yes, it's enabled for the whole org.

NS700, no message lamp and no voicemails

It was set to yes, but so is everyone else's. And this one, like all the others, is set to "Continuous" rather than Scheduled.

NS700, no message lamp and no voicemails

Do you know what that setting is called? I only see a setting called "Device Notification for Unreceived Message" but it's off for everyone, and nobody else seems to have the same issue.

NS700, no message lamp and no voicemails

I can leave someone a voicemail as a test and I hear their welcome message, etc. But then the message waiting lamp just turns on once then goes off. Then when they check their messages, there's no voicemails. Has anyone encountered this and knows how to fix it? Thanks.

NS700, have multiple phones ring when one is called?

It's okay, thanks. Do you know how to get messages/voicemails from two extensions to go to a whole different (third) mailbox?

NS700, have multiple phones ring when one is called?

I think I got it working. Now they're asking me if it's possible to have the calls they miss (that are answered by another station) not show up as missed calls. I wouldn't think that's possible, but is there maybe a way to change that?

NS700, have multiple phones ring when one is called?

Great idea. Where do I set up an intercept destination per step 3? Would it be "No answer intercept time" for the 1 second delay? Thank you!

NS700, have multiple phones ring when one is called?

Thank you. For the ICD group I set up, do people have to use the floating extension of the group rather than just call that specific extension directly? For example, if I want all incoming calls from 3601 to also ring on 3600 and 3602, can I set my NS700 to ring on all three just by creating the...

NS700, have multiple phones ring when one is called?

I have a call pickup group and an incoming call distribution list set up to include three front desk phones at our Elementary School, and everything looks correct, but I can't get all three of them to ring when one is called. What is the easiest/best way to have this work? Thank you.

NS700, some extensions transfer you to the front desk

Not sure, where would I check that?

NS700, some extensions transfer you to the front desk

Here's something I found out: if I punch the 4-digit extension into my phone and then press speakerphone, it will dial like normal and the call will go through. It's only with the "conventional" method of picking up the handset and then dialing that I get the error.

NS700, some extensions transfer you to the front desk

Please pardon my ignorance, but when you say change the operators extension, do you mean change my desk phone to use their extension? Just so I don't have to travel between buildings?

NS700, some extensions transfer you to the front desk

Thanks. When you say the operator phone, do you mean the one that's in another building that can't be reached by its 4-digit extension?

NS700, some extensions transfer you to the front desk

Thanks, I'll give it a try. What does 790 do? And I found out more information on this issue from people in the building, they're saying nobody from the middle school can 4-digit dial the high school. Does that open up other things to check for and try?

NS700, some extensions transfer you to the front desk

This is my 2nd year with this PBX. There's some people's 4-digit extension, even if they're in another building at another address in our district, where instead of being able to directly dial them by extension - it will give me a message on my phone that says "Message On" and the call ends up...

NS700, change what phone rings after hours?

Hi, thanks for the reply. We do have a recorded menu message through class of service if that's what you mean. For this issue, it ended up being a time of day thing, I just don't remember where I found it.
