The network issue was with VLANs from another vendor. I am sure you have experienced another vendor telling you the network is ready but you can't ping the server from a phone...
I followed the "SIP Telephone Installation Notes" and used the "Simple Installation"...
Doing a new install on a 500v2 with Avaya J139 telephones running 11.0.4.0.0 build 74.
Had to prove a network issue which has put a pinch on the install date.
Does anyone have any experience with this install, and if using the 500v2 as the DHCP and HTTP file server do you still need to mess...

1. System
2. Telephony
a. Dial Delay Time (seconds)
Reduce this time but be careful. Too much and the system will cut you off before you finish dialing.
You may also press # after dialing. Pressing # is like hitting send on your cell. Otherwise the system waits...

Avaya documentation seems to read that this major of an upgrade requires the USB method.

We have a customer with an IPO R8 that has been experiencing clocking issues on an AT&T Local PRI and an AT&T LD PRI for some time. I know it is preferred to only have one clock source but the clocking appears to be off because we get errors no matter which clock we choose. We also tried...
