    Still can only access the internet in safe mode... cleaned out all hidden Symantec/Norton files in registry and nothing! Any more tips, short of a flatline windows reinstall?

    Thanks, I already did the winstock fix to no avail. Discovered that I can make fine contact with the internet in Safe Mode, but still not in normal mode. Did more virus checks in safe mode-- still coming up clean. Settings match computers.
