Firebird i hear whot u are saying but if a customer hasnt got the password due to previous maintainers then it leaves them with one option Nortel...unless you have remote access or are on site then i cant c a security issue unless your hacking the system to do other means.....which then leads...

Also i heard there was a aplication that you run to give you admin1 / admin2 password via a backup of the config via pdt if the passwords were not avalible.?

Then if u can do this via pdt in a registry entry can u lead me in the right direction wher to start looking. I have plenty of spare scc cards to play with and alot of time on my hands to work through it. Thanks

so yes u can but where do i find it if u cant tell me.... perhaps a lead in the right direction doin the hex is a pain plus it dosent cover every softwarwe release.
