Where are you getting the 'Date Amount' & 'Cashflow' info from? You can easily setup a report to formulate your data, but the initial data or formula needs to be in the table (not really in the report, since you can show only what you want in the report).
Do you have some form of initial amount...
My DB is used for an online store, it is a flat file structure that basically uses 2 tables; one for the customer information, and another with their purchase info.
The customer info is in a flat file structure while the customer data is a single column. Basically the flat file refrences the...
Robert,
Thanks, my users do in fact need to work on table 3 (being the target table), so I'm not too sure how practical it would be for them to have access yet not be able to create new records....I don't trust them to remember not to add new records while I update...perhaps it's just better to...
Unfortunately not, appending the orders coming in needs to be done during the day in order for the shipping department to have access to them and be able to print labels.
I also run a backup at night and need Access closed in order to let the tape drive copy it.
I work for a direct marketing company and we receive about 1000 - 2000 orders daily, the orders come in the form of 2 tables that I have to append to the main DB and then run a macro which includes a few more queries.
Out of habit I get all my users off the DB to append it, but as the DB grows...

I'm having a little trouble publishing Data Access pages online. I setup a query to ask users for thier last name and zip...it then publishes the information in HTML from their input. It works fine and dandy in Access when I test it. However the second I place it on my intranet it fails to load...
KArl,
Much thanks, do you think this is the issue even if the DB is on a different drive? I just cleaned my C via 'Disk Cleanup' and there was a little bit of junk.
However my DB's are on 2 seperate drives...
Karl,
I've cleaned up the drive with the DB in qustion...I'm cleaning up my C drive as well just in case...
I'm short of de-fraging it...but that'll take a while...and I'm loathe to do it since I don't think it will achieve anything.
I get this error in my Access 2000 when trying to compact and repair...the DB is 400 000kb+ but there is more than enough space on the disk...and I have had it up to 900 000kb at times with no problem...but now suddenly it throws this error...any ideas?
Well...I managed to fix that problem...but it is not helping me with regards to the DB...
There are two large talbes in it that cannot be moved, copied, exported, compacted or repaired....Access just seems to stop working after a few minutes. The odd thing is, it doesn't seem to freeze up...it...
Well I was able to get into the editor, not anymore for some reason, perhaps because my clients are working in it as well.
I have the Refrences Dialog Box that shows
MISSING: PSiServer 1.0 Type Library
